One of IPPOs oldest members is Marian Feldman from Poland. Marian was 17 when WW II started. Thanks to his ingenuity and many good-willed people plus a bit of luck, he was able to survive difficult times. In the book he remembers his school friends and family members. Some he was able to trace and others he lost track off. It´s a fascinating story that could be highly recommended.
The book can be bought either as an e-book or printed by following the link.

As a result, in many cases there is food but no money, or too much food in some places and too little food in other places.
